Updated and far more powerful interactive versions of the Segraves (Sample) Form Filler are available for "free" use at this site. The technology employed here makes it possible to save form data entered in a PDF form, even with Acrobat Reader. There is no charge for use of the forms.
The Author has used the Adobe Portable Document Format technology to ensure that Users with Windows, MAC and Linux operating systems will be able to use the forms. No other known forms program offers this portability and ease of access.
The new forms allow you to submit work in progress to the Author's web site, where a program (known as a script) will convert your form data into a format that is readable by your form, returning the results directly to you. You can then resume your work at your convenience, rather than having to complete the form during a single computer session, as you must do if you use the static PDFs usually available elsewhere.
There's only one major requirement. Your web browser must be configured to use Acrobat Reader as a plugin, i.e., Acrobat Reader must load the PDF form into your browser window, rather than Acrobat Reader's window.
The best way to determine if your computer is configured correctly is to have a go at it. So, if you're ready, please proceed with the sample registration process below.
Note: Nothing is actually submitted. Instead, the data is presented to you at your workstation, where you may save a copy of the form data for future use.
